The FBEDC has nearly 30 years invested in making Fort Bend County a world class place to live, work and enjoy life. Focused on quality growth, the four guiding areas of concentration for the organization are business recruitment and retention, business climate, infrastructure sufficient to sustain growth and being a problem solver in areas that threaten quality growth or the community's economic future. We are a public private partnership of governmental, education, non-profit and private sector entities with a common vision and interest of elevating Fort Bend County, and its respective cities and communities, to the premier place to live and operate a business not just in the region but in the nation and the world.
